The Randall Granier Style
The Randall Granier Style is a reflection of my personality, in particular my passion for learning about people and telling their stories with fine-art photography. As my business has grown in Atlanta, GA, it has naturally emerged as a personal, eclectic blend of two competing disciplines, photojournalism and classical portraiture. I always add genuine emotion to that mix, and that's what makes the Randall Granier Style original.
My style is also strongly influenced by the desire to help my customers. My customers are diverse, however, they are united by a love for their families and pride in their homes. They have invested emotional energy and financial resources to make their homes places of warmth and comfort for raising their families. At some point in this process, they have correctly understood that displaying beautiful photography will create a short path to a home with character and personality. Not satisfied with the ordinary, my customers also fear that they will one day wake up one day to find that all of the memories of their family and children remain merely in low-quality snapshots and assembly-line studio photography.
They want something more, and I am here to make sure that they get it.
With modern technology it's pretty easy to take a decent snapshot. But this has never been what great photography is about. Great photography is about creating something original that is filled with meaning. Most importantly, it requires time, and it can never be accomplished with assembly-line business practices. Great photography is difficult, and many photographers, even ones with many years of professional experience, fall short. Maybe they feel more comfortable following the accepted photographic formulas, or maybe they just do not want to spend the necessary time. But take a look around; you will see a plethora of stiff poses, fake smiles, and corny studio sets.
My style is different.
It starts with the fact that every session is a custom experience with the goal of creating fine-art, photographs with meaning and depth. We will work together to develop a concept that speaks to you, and we will carry that concept through the entire process. There are no formulas.
I welcome you to visit the Session Page to learn more about the details behind our work together.
